Plan for the current year - 2009.
1) We will send out an e-mail to all the members of our trust and other people in our friends network asking for their mode of contribution and declaration for their donation amount (if they plan to contribute financially). We have set "Feb 4th to March 31st" as the period for this. This is only declaration. We will collect the amount later in the month of May, just before we conduct the function.

2) By April first week, we will come to know that how much amount will be collected from all of us for this year. Based on this we will select the number of schools and colleges. We will work on 2:1 ratio. This means that if we decide to provide scholarships to 30 students, we will send the invitations for 60 schools & colleges (both together) and asking for the nomination of one student from their school/college.
3) We will request the HMs/Principals to send the nominations from their respective schools/colleges as soon as they get their results. We are sure that this can be done by the end of June first week. Then we will scrutinize the list and announce the batch of students for this year
4) If everything is on track, we will try to conduct the function in the last week of June or in the first week of July. 5) If we get any student nominations from any of our friends from any state of India, we will consider that request and try to do our best as per the criteria.
